Otto

Otto — Terms of Service

Effective date: July 3, 2026

Otto is a private, invitation-only voice assistant built for the members of one family. It is operated by Rennick & Rennick LLC (Ohio, USA) at my.ottocare.app. By using Otto you agree to these terms. Questions? Email mikerennick@gmail.com.

1. What Otto is

Otto is a personal assistant for a small set of invited family members. It is for personal, non-commercial use only. There is no public signup: accounts are created and managed by the operator (the family "concierge").

2. Acceptable use

Only authorized family members may use Otto. Don't misuse the service, probe or disrupt it, or attempt to access another person's account or data. Each account is for the person it was created for.

3. Otto can make mistakes

Otto's responses are generated by an AI and are provided for general information and convenience. They may be incomplete or wrong. Please verify anything important — especially health information, appointment times, and directions — before relying on it.

4. Purchases and money

Otto never completes purchases or payments. For groceries, Otto only adds items to a connected Kroger cart when you ask it to — you (or the family concierge) always review the cart and complete checkout yourself in Kroger's own app or website. Any action that involves spending money is reviewed by a human before it happens.

5. Third-party services

Some features rely on third-party accounts you or the concierge choose to connect — for example Google Calendar and Gmail, Kroger, and Google Maps. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies. Otto accesses a connected account only with the account holder's consent, and the account holder can disconnect it at any time.

6. No warranty; limitation of liability

Otto is a family project, provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rennick & Rennick LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service. The service may change, pause, or be discontinued at any time.

7. Termination

The operator may suspend or close an account at any time. You may stop using Otto whenever you like and may request deletion of your account and data at any time by emailing mikerennick@gmail.com.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, USA.

9. Changes to these terms

If these terms change, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
